Coach, what ever happened to Matty, at least I believe her first name was Matty, can't remember her last name...She is the young girl you had worked with that coach Harper was not interested in, but she looked great to a lot of us....By now I believe she should be a junior somewhere.

She plays for Wofford 6-4, they have the pleasure of taking on South Carolina tomorrow,,sigh...She's a shooter in a run n gun system,,,plays 10 mins per game...Not having the times of her life, I suppose but getting a college education

Sad news

Just found out that our old mini dachshund has developed diabetes and the cost of treatment in money and time is not something we can provide him at this time. Wifey is totally upset but I'm more reasonable about what must be done.
Basically, we are going to let him live out his life as best he can with a strict diet plan and if he doesn't respond then we will have him put down. He is >13 y old any way so at best he would maybe have 3 to 4 years left. The big problem for us is that the dog can't/ doesn't hold his urine and is leaving messes in the house even though I take him outside several times a day and also at night. This just started in the past few weeks, thank GOD. we have tile floors and very limited carpets. He can shed his doggie diaper faster than you can put it on him... :(

We have to invest so much time and effort in caring for Wifey's mom here at home that we both are just plumb worn out.

Im sorry. I had a dachshund that lived 15 years and was the light of our lives. Hang in there.
