In other news, Peyton Manning announced his retirement today....

Wouldn't that be something? If there was anyone on the planet who i think could step right in to a major SEC OC job and do outstandingly, it's Peyton.

Whoever it is, they need to be a solid recruiter. Bajakian was never an all-star like Z or Thig when it came to recruiting.

Uhh no. Peyton is a Vol icon. We'd have to start all over on offense. I don't see Peyton stepping in to run Butch's offensive scheme, nor do I want to see us minimize Dobbs mobility at this point to turn him into a pocket passer.

some of these poster think like kindergarten students and have the emotions of newborns. Tee would be what we need and another great recruiter to assist Thigpen and his tireless efforts.

Tee dogged our guy though. Not saying what you posted isn't true but, how would we handle that.

Hire George Quarles to coach WR/QB and let Coach Z be OC. If it doesn't work for Z then you have his replacement in place and gaining coaching experience.

Let it go.. People say a lot of things.. I'm sure amends would be made if he got to interview here...

I'm not bitter about it. I love Tee but, it's just an issue I think we should avoid considering there are other names just as enticing out there.

JMO But Chuck has always been "ALL IN" and if he would have been promoted to DC as he should have been, Then we would not of suffered such bad D schemes of the Devil's era. oops I meant Dooley era. Then again the alienator may have been given one more year and UT football wouldn't be on the Road to recovery. Just gotta love that VFL Chuck Smith

Rhett Lashlee has been with Gus since high school. That would be a nice get but I would be shocked if he left Gus for anything other than a HC position. And he made $600,000 this year.

I was thinking we promote a position coach of his.

Seeing a lot of support for Azzani for OC. My question is what have you seen to justify this? WRs took a huge step back in 2014 (partially due to oline play for sure) and has virtually zero OC experience. With out current situation, we can go after some major talent w/ experience. Why take the chance on Azzani with such little success to point to?

Because this came so late in the game there's very little out there to choose from.

He's been in the program, knows the offense and knows the players.

That's really all we need right now. Somebody to not screw it up.

The WR Corps suffered a lot of injuries during the season. I don't think it was a step back.
