Possible OC Candidates

He did not coach QBs at UK

Didn't say he did...but he worked with QBs at his own clinics... Might know something about them...Since parents paid him to make their sons better at QBing?

From what I have read,Uk had no designated qb coach during the 1997 to 1999 period. The job was split between leach, mumme, and Franklin. They all studied the same offense schemes from byu and similar style programs. He even has a book about it. The qb coaching was shared best I understand, as all three were integral in designing the attack, for which Franklin has been credited for developing a significant portion. I have read 6-7 different sites giving him credit in tutoring couch and others during the period. As you stated he also has had a clinic teaching school programs and individual qb's the scheme throughout his tenure.
To think he played no part in tutoring the qb's is simply short sited even if he did not, nor anyone else I can find, had that specific job title.
The air raid attack was coached by committee that had been studying it together for years. The passing and offensive numbers actually went up after couch left, and Franklin officially took over... Think about that!

Franklin did not develop a "significant portion" of the offense. Leach and Mumme developed the offense. And he started doing qb camps because no one would hire him after UK fired him.

What's your beef dude?
I have researched the entire coaching careers of all of them. I agree leach and mumme originated the plan but to say Franklin didn't help with the system is just dense. I will have to find again the quote I read directly using the term "significantly contributed to the development", then I will add it to the link for you.
Franklin did coach after uk and now is cal's oc and qb coach with a higher ranked offense than our own.
You are going on ignore now bc you want to argue with no basis. I have provided quotes from three of the sites saying otherwise. Where is your proof? Nevermind I won't see it to read it.
Rest assured he did help coach all three of the qb's mentioned. He did help develope uk's attack and still runs a highly effective version today.
Go argue to your wall.
