Possible OC Candidates

I would think it would be a guy who runs a similar type offense so that elimiates Tee and other non spread type OC's.

I'm on board with Kurt Roper. Willing to overlook his stint at Florida not to mention he has Tennessee ties.

Why not have Butch call plays and just hire a QB coach. There are sometimes I wish we would let Butch go back to his roots and just take over.

Don't know much about the guy from Zona but running a similar offense and being successful at it makes me like him.

Kate Upton! All she has to do is run/Jump on the sidelines when our QB snaps the ball! Defense would not know what hit them!!!

No actually he was Ark St HC and was at a small college before that called Lambuth.

He was at OleMiss before Lambuth..Went straight from HS to OleMiss TE Coach and recruiting Coordinator then went to Lambuth a yr then OC at Ark St before becoming HC.

Anybody that is familiar with Butch's system (so there isn't another learning curve) and will scheme to his players' strengths and what the defense gives him (including slant routes).

If you guys are serious, it may not be as far-fetched as it sounds (seeing he is possibly going to retire from the league anytime now), but he has already stated that he plans to return next year in Denver....pending an annual physical, which is required for his contract.

He still has that thigh injury that hobbled him in the playoffs, so it will be sometime between now and early march, when he has that physical.
