Anyone have an on3 sub?
We need to pick up some good team chemistry guys this time around. Some players are going to leave, there may be some surprises. And new people will be brought in and CTV will load up again. It happens every year, it's the new way of doing business in the NCAA these days.
Not sure you pick up that type of leader from the portal. Kirby and C-Mo were more of a homegrown event. Could we point to that leadership at the end of 2023? I believe it was pretty apparent. Can we point out those leaders moving forward to next year? Hmmm…We need to pick up some good team chemistry guys this time around.
Very difficult to replace the Kirby and C-Mo types of leaders.
Wish Stanford’s Japanese phenomenon would enter the portal. He had a good year but nothing spectacular.. I just really like Japanese baseball lolUT looking for a starter. In the mix for Luke Dotson from Miss St.
Looking for relievers. Kennesaw St guy in the boat and in the mix for Brady Frederick at ETSU.
Prioritizing catchers. Two names emerging are Notre Dame’s Carson Tinney and Bowling Green’s Garrett Wright.
Stanford SS Temo Becerra is another name to watch.
Antigua is one hell of a teammate man. The way he stood up to LSU basically by himself.. He's always the first out of the dugout to congratulate anybody for anything. Not sure you pick up that type of leader from the portal. Kirby and C-Mo were more of a homegrown event. Yes, that is a good point. Maybe the bench is where we find the 2026 leaders versus the portal. Plus, I was impressed with composure of our third baseman. He might be one to watch. Also, Arizona kid has flashed signs. And, maybe Jay since he will probably land in CF.Not sure you pick up that type of leader from the portal. Kirby and C-Mo were more of a homegrown event. Quite a glove, and awesome arm.Antigua is one hell of a teammate man. The way he stood up to LSU basically by himself.. He's always the first out of the dugout to congratulate anybody for anything.
I wish he was better at the plate/had a more accurate arm. He could be that guy for us.
I haven't seen this defensive wizard yet. Kilen played a better SS in game. Clearly Tony V is a baseball savant and wanted him at SS late in games so he must've been incredible in practice. Clearly it's there just hasn't translated imo.Quite a glove, and awesome arm.
Just don't think he can hit his weight at this level and has zero pop.
Beat he steps down a level because he's good enough to play for many teams as an Ozzie Smith gloveman
We've all seen him make incredible defensive plays. His fielding percentage for the year was .937. Maybe some of the errors because his range is so good, I don't know.Quite a glove, and awesome arm.

Oh, he’s a wizard. Made some errors trying to do too much in limited playing time. Trying to do too much to earn more PT. Not sure about the bat, but he’s had injuries both years in the preseason that affected his bat. Might be better than we think at the plate if he’s completely healthy. He was great last year. Very good fielder. Just needs to improve at the plate.I haven't seen this defensive wizard yet. Kilen played a better SS in game. Yes, he is an absolute wizard. Go early sometime and watch warmups...or an open practice.Oh, he’s a wizard. Made some errors trying to do too much in limited playing time. Clark looked at lot like a freshman Blake Burke. Flashed a big bat with great power and sometimes questionable plate discipline on pitches that weren't fastballs. 1B makes a lot of sense for him if he can hold down that spot. IIRC, BB wasn't a natural 1B either but really became pretty good there.I don't see AA doing anything differently than late defensive fill in if he can't figure out how to hit. He also had about the same fielding % as Dean as much flack as Dean caught.
Clark cannot catch. He was a catcher in name only. He struggled catching in HS and did not really catch in showcase ball. He will play corner OF or first.
