Good. Stand our ground. Hes not shown he deserves an insane amount of money. Tennessee would be giving him more money than Cal, a chance to compete for playing time, an opportunity to play on the biggest stage, and a chance to make it to the NFL. If hes just chasing a bag move along.

Play them which is what many have demanded for years and this coming year we actually will have to do that so let’s see how it turns out before judging our portal approach this spring.

I suspect you have never been in a management role. It’s pretty obvious what is going on IMO. Coaches have established a comp structure for the various position groups. They aren’t going to blow up their comp structure for a transfer back up.

It’s not 10 years ago. Roster management is about dollars, not just numbers. And it’s not just total dollars, it’s dollars with the team generally and position groups specifically. It’s the same thing that large companies everywhere do, and it’s smart the staff is approaching it this way.

You guys are like children whining over not getting toys at the Salvation Army when you already have a bunch of shiny brand new toys still in the box at home. The parents (Heupel) bought you those toys (Radarious Jackson, Travis Smith, Dasaahn Brame) and they're much better than the second hand stuff at Goodwill (portal).
