Had a chance to briefly catch up with former Colorado DB Colton Hood and former Cal WR Jonathan Brady.

First on Hood, Tennessee looks like they did very well with this visit. He has visited Miami and Tennessee to this point. Notre Dame is in play so it will be interesting to see if he visits there. Feels like the Vols did as well as they could do.

Equally with Brady as the Vols seem to have his attention a great amount. He told me he had a fantastic meeting with Heupel and was headed up to meet with Pope and then dinner with Pope this evening. - VQ

Sounds like Brent Austin had a great visit too. Will decide after he visits Cal. Not sure what the pecking order is between Austin and Hood. Unless both are takes.

The annual contribution limit for those under 50 in 2025 is $7,000.
200k contribution to traditional IRA, 7k deductible, Roth conversion in 2026 with taxes paid with current income. Or can covert over time. As long as the gov is a crack whore with a credit card, the likelihood of marginal tax rates being higher in the future is a given.

You can't do that. You'll be hit with 6% annual penalties on the excess contributions of $193K (and earnings thereon) until the excess is withdrawn.

Marginal tax rates have gone down over time. The highest rate during the 50s was around 80%. Spending isn’t the only reason for deficits and debt.
