That's my concern too. We don't necessarily need a beast, just someone serviceable. Doesn't sound like they expect Amari to contribute this year according to Hubbs and not sure how many reps Boo can handle with him playing D. So we have Brazzell( Jr), Mathews( So), Stayley (R-FR),Smith(True Fr),Jackson(True Fr), Dodson(True Fr), who isn't on campus yet then Jefferson( R- Fr) and Boo. Tons of talent but damn. That's a very young WR room with little experience. Brazzell was 3rd in the SEC in dropped passes, so hopefully he takes a huge stepIt seems we backed off WR recruiting. Maybe slim pickings in the portal and we like what we have? We are a few injuries away from serious trouble there.
To put it into perspective what we are up against in the portal world….we probably can’t come close to this number.

Need to spend the money to truly have a shot to win it all. Nature of the sport these days, i refuse to believe Tennessee is struggling by any means to get the money. Look at how many sports that are successful at Tennessee. Then you add the "talent fee" which is used for NIL the money is there in my opinion. But i could be wrong.Heupel: "We can give you $12 million."
Kid: "Love Tennessee! They're one of my top schools."
Sarkisian: "We can give you $35 to $40 million."
Kid: "I'm officially committed to Texas. Respect my decision."
Volnation: "HEUPEL CAN'T RECRUIT!!!"
The talent fee is for the House decision. No NIL is coming from the school yet.Need to spend the money to truly have a shot to win it all. This times a million. You can tell posters who’ve played and those who have not. Ot those who pretended to play but just had a uniform. Here’s what I don’t get about you and the others going on about CJH’s approach and psychological profile when you’ve never met him and actually have no clue.
Dude was always overlooked and underrated as a player. Forced his way into a starting spot at Oklahoma against massive odds when it would have been much easier to quit or take an easier path. Won a championship, was a Heisman runner up and won tons of other awards. He’s been massively successful as offensive coach for 15 years. He has three times as many wins as losses as a head coach. He has led UT to its most successful 3 year stretch in 25 years while dealing with a roster in transition and NCAA sanctions.
What about this background says naive or too relaxed or too loyal or whatever other garbage you’re always spewing? I look at this and see a guy who would have to be hyper competitive. Nothing about what he’s done suggests that winning is not his sole focus.
You just don’t like the way he goes about it so you make up nonsense that has no basis in reality or fact.
You are; if you believe Tennessee has 35, 40 million to spend on just football.Need to spend the money to truly have a shot to win it all.
