Sure i get that but portal has left us light at several positions. I believe we will be in good shape when all is said and done though.

I’ve calmed down, checked around and hopeful Thomas makes his way back to us. As long as no one drops what we would consider too big a bag for him I think they can work out a bump he can live with.

I do agree we desperately need some good news/momentum and hopefully it comes after this weekend.

It’s so secondary right now but we have been doing great work to position ourselves for a GREAT 2026 class run this summer.

But hard to get as excited about that in the current environment.

Feels like every time I voice some confidence it’s met with unexpected twist and turns. My info a bit more removed from the portal side than the HS recruiting side.

I do feel good about us adding 1 quality DL and WR though.

It's a reduction of 28 scholarships over 5 years. Don't know how many we've reduced over the years, tbh. Just that it had to be 2 a year. You honestly could be onto something.

Bottom line is how many scholarships are open right now? How many scholarship players are currently on the roster?

With everyone that is currently in the portal + the Duncan medical retirement, we are at 76 scholarship players. So we could add 7 players and still be at 83.
