I got flamed this winter for biotching about our seemingly apathetic take and speed/interest in upgrading/replacing players in the portal for all the talent we were losing... Now folks starting to see the results.

Man, everyone talking about our QB (obviously), WR, and secondary issues/needs, but has anyone realized with Pili gone, we are super thin at LB? Other than Spillman (young/inexperienced), Telander (beast/fierce/but slow), and Arion Carter (experienced), who we got? Am I missing someone? I'm sure I am missing someone, but still, yikes. But we got like 11 DL's...

Tbh I agree with you completely man. I feel like we managed the roster horribly this off season. Way too thin at MANY positions.

WR- too thin
LB- too thin
CB- Gibson and who else??? Jermod is injured
S- razor thin

Bc the agents are shopping them around all year long. That’s why they hire agents. To go out and find deals for them.

But using the agents as a scapegoat is hilarious. These young men have minds of their own. If they're happy at the place they're playing at, then does that few thousands of dollars really matter? Especially if you're good enough to play at next level.

When it comes to recruiting we need to remember the mess we were in before last year. Players and parents listen to that stuff and it wasn't good. I think the people we got now that are leaving are seeing the writing on the wall as far as playing time so they jump ship. Everybody thinks they are NFL prospects when in reality very very few will ever get a chance to play on Sunday and that is the hard facts.
