'25 Portal Thread

As Keith mentioned earlier today, the Miami S transfer started his visit to Florida earlier this morning. I'm told he will be here through the night, and then is expected to leave early tomorrow morning. From what I've gathered, it sounds like his plans are to see Tennessee next. Oklahoma State was another visit I've heard could be in the cards also. I haven't heard anything of note yet on his official visit, but he's been in the middle of the trip since this morning. So still things to see and do before he heads out. He's been giving UF a pretty strong look ever since he went in portal and they got in contact. If/when we hear more on Patterson we will pass along.

I wanted this guy as soon as he entered. Would love to pull this one off

I will say it is quite funny how aggressive we are attacking these positions in the spring vs in the winter
Someone with knowledge may have to jump in, but we had a bunch of early enrollees, and I’m pretty sure we were tight with numbers. Now that more have left, we can take guys. There are bunch of moving parts.

Had a voluntary retirement, several transfers out, and a quitter, quit. Now, quitter's money is greasing the skids.

Our wide receivers last year were NOT good, and that is being charitable. We were playing older, but less physically talented guys. We will now be playing younger, less experienced, but more physically gifted guys. We'll see. It could be addition by subtraction like it was with our DB's last year. We have almost no returning production, but let's not pretend that anybody was happy about our WR's last year. They were a massive disappointment.
Who is more physically talented than Thorton?
