The only reciever we should be focused on is the BYU one. Brings tons of speed, leadership and can return kicks. Needs to be our #1 priority IMO

I hear you. I just don't think the lack of experience in our WR room means they suck.

Thornton looked like a bust until he wasn't. So did Hyatt. So did Tillman. Think this will be the same song, different verse, and Mike will break out. All the guys I listed just need an opportunity, IMO. The least athletic in the group is probably Brazzell and he managed over 700 yards receiving when he was the top target at Tulane.

I think Brazell has plenty of athleticism. He seems to lack focus, which lead to too many drops. That was an issue with a lot of our WR's last year, including Thornton.

TX spent a reported $22.3 million for their 2024 football roster, OSU spent $20.3 million, UGA spent $18.4 million, and TN spent $11.6 (per Top College Football Playoff Teams Ranked by NIL Collective Funds - CollegeNetWorth.com). If TN is going to compete with these schools for every recruit, then we will need to raise more money. Many of these transfer players are signing where they can make the most money and the biggest spenders are not in Knoxville.

No one has the actual amounts, but at least the OSU amount was confirmed by their AD in a statement to Yahoo Sports that their NIL spent "around $20 million". Probably a safe bet that TN was outspent by several other schools.
