Which is better for the Vols?

Which of these 2 options are best for our Tennessee Vols? Explain your logic below. I wanted to see this in Poll form. I'll give my opinions later and let you guys respond a few times first.
IF Vols beat Vandy, we don't go to Athens in 1st round of playoffs. Here's why:

1. TX beats A&M - A&M out of playoffs
a. TX beats UGA in SECC - Vols won'l play in Athens, may host 3-loss UGA
b. UGA beats TX in SECC - worst case, play in Austin. BUT, a 2-loss Vols with a 14 pt. loss @UGA looks better than 2-loss TX who lost to UGA by 15 in Austin, so we could host TX in rd. 1

2. A&M beats TX
a. A&M beats UGA in SECC - Vols won'l play in Athens, may host 3-loss UGA
b. UGA beats A&M - Worst case could wind up playing TX in Austin, but our 14 pt. loss in Athens at night looks better than TX 15 pt. loss to UGA in Austin.

So, beat Vandy and most likely worst case for the Vols is we play @ ND. Would love to play TX or UGA at Neyland at night in 1st round. I don't think even UF '98 would match the atmosphere.

From all of the scenarios that I’ve seen, there’s only one that might really hurt the Vols.
That would be TAMU beating both Texas and UGA.
If that happens and ND and 2 ACC teams get in, the committee might not take the Vols.
4 Big10
2 ACC
1 Big12
Boise
ND
3 SEC. (TAMU, Texas, UGA). TAMU gets the automatic. Texas probably still ranked ahead of us and, despite having 3 losses, UGA would not be “punished” for playing in conference title game and UGA beat us head to head.

But, if the playoffs started today, the ACC already has two teams (Miami with the bye, SMU in at seed #10) in the field.

If A&M wins the SEC and chalk happens everywhere else, including Miami losing the ACC title game to SMU, how would Tennessee fall out? You'd need Indiana, currently ranked two spots below the Vols, to jump them by virtue of a home victory over Purdue while Tennessee would have a road win over bowl-bound Vanderbilt.

I just don't see any reality in which Tennessee wins on Saturday and finds themselves in a regular bowl game.

Texas will likely get in regardless, but they haven’t beaten anyone this season so a loss should realistically remove them from contention.

If Texas loses to A&M that's 2 losses. Ga wins SECCG against A&M, GA moves to top four with a bye. Will the committee move us into the top 8 ahead of Texas? That's the question?

First and foremost, Vols have to take care of business this weekend!

I’m saying we need TX to win out. If they lose to A&M, they may still be ranked over us and that opens up the possibility for A&M win the SECC and jump us with a first round bye. The committee might keep UGA above us and that would push TN lower in the seeding. If TX wins out at least nothing changes and we are square in the middle of the playoffs.

Now I’m pulling for all the other teams not in the SEC to lose this weekend!

Meh….. Texas I guess.
At least they do wear some color of orange…….
