One of the only things Mike was not good at was shooting, genius.

So Kobe Bryant sucks at shooting too? 34.1% from down town on his career. That's not even 2% higher than Villanueva. For every 100 3's they attempt, Kobe makes 2 more three's than Villanueva. I guess Kobe sucks at shooting, right genius?

You're kidding right? He shot over 45% on his career and won I don't know how many games hitting a jump shot. I would say that makes him a pretty good shooter. He did more than drive to the basket.

Yet again, you show your brilliance. I'm pretty sure we were talking about 3 point shooting, but I guess I needed to clarify it for you.

Kobe's midrange game is his bright spot.

I agree with all of those who support Bruce!!!!!!! Bruce has raised all the fans expectations. We are talking about a down year when UT won the SEC East and 21 games. UT beat USC on the court. Therefore, UT should have been outright SEC East Champs!!!

I love his enthusiasm. I love the fact that he bought Tshirts for the students. Ticket sales have gone through the roof. Bruce has put a lot of life into what once was a flat program!!! UT has went to the NCAATournament all four years under Pearl !!!!!!! Yet, several want to bash Bruce. Anyone hating on Bruce is definitely ignorant, including Hat!!!

Where do you people come from?

And since I am included in the ignorant statement, I can assure you I am prepared to match wits with you and your ilk any day of the week, at any hour.

Yep. That's it. You just can't accept the fact that I am right about those guys being good 3 point shooters. Shooting 30-34.9% from downtown is good. Shooting 35% or better is great. There aren't many people shooting better than Kobe Bryant's career three point percentage.

You are ridiculous. Nobody who knows what they are talking about will tell you shooting 30% is "good".

I should note that the funny thing about you claiming they aren't good three point is that you said there are plenty of good 6'9 or taller 3 point shooters in the NBA. If I were to agree with you that 31% isn't good then there are probably only five 6'9+ guys in the NBA that are good at shooting three's according to you.

I could name more than 5 guys who are 6'9+ who shot more than 40 % this year. How about you go look that up and see if it's accurate?

You obviously did. You didn't believe I could put together an easy list off the top of my head so I don't believe you'd know peoples 3pt percentages off the top of your head. Also, five? Five guys over 6'9 shooting over 40. Since when is that plenty? How many of these guys are more than just shooters? I know I forgot someone like Steve Novak but he is useless outside of shooting. When I was talking about Chism I stated 6'9 or taller and can do more than just shoot three's. These guys shooting over 40% on the season... go look at their career numbers. I didn't know one season made you awesome. In that case, you think Marvin Williams is an awesome three point shooter because he shot like 36% this past season.

Dirk Nowitzki this past season 35.9%... Marvin Williams 35.5%. So Nowitzki sucks at shooting three's? The gap on their career is 7% but you can't have it both ways. Are we talking career or season? When I was bringing up career percentages you started talking about season percentages. In that case.... what do you have to say about Kevin Durant? He shot 28.8% from downtown his first season to 42.2% from downtown his second season. It's easy to say this many big men shot a high percentage from downtown one season. It's another to do it on their career. Troy Murphy is another example. He is one of those guys shooting over 40% last season that you're talking about. His first three seasons he never even attempted more than 17 shots from downtown(less than 30% made) and then all of a sudden he is shooting high 30's while attempting 150. Peoples three point percentages go up and down. They get better and worse. Just like free throw percentages.... In three games against the Lakers Dwight Howard was shooting like 80% from the line. He is a career 60% free throw shooter. One over achieving season doesn't prove your point. Career > one season.

I'm glad. You have no sense of reality. You can't handle losing an argument. You think one season of over achieving out weights career numbers. This past season you say Durant is an awesome three point shooter for shooting over 40% and the season before he must've been a sucky three point shooter because he shot below 30%. Thank you for blocking me. I'd rather not talk to someone so clueless.

Yeah, managing a Wendy's is a time consuming activity.
Posted via VolNation Mobile

Even if I were managing Wendy's, it's more time consuming than collecting welfare or disability. That's about the only way you could spend so much time on a single site/board. Good for you.

And on what do you base that? Once again you have proven to be clueless.

Are you joking? Are people on this board really that uneducated? Am I the only here who actually graduated from UT? Dear lord. Shouldn't that question be directed at the guy who said I manage Wendy's. What exactly is he basing that off of? I don't piss my life away talking about something that doesn't directly affect my life. Maybe that's because I have a life. Just a thought. Whether Tennessee wins or loses, I am not going to cry over it. Even if they win, it's not my accomplishments. I was just a bystander.

Jesus, it's like you have friendly football folk in the football forums, and then over in the basketball forums it's a barrage of "witty" one-liners for all those who stand in disagreement just like every other forum on the internet.

Pretty sad considering we are all a fan of the same team. I save my Wendy's comments for the jack*** Gator fans on other boards.

A direct correlation can be made with that and the direction of both sports.

Actually, genius, I believe you started the whole thing by implying we had no lives because we post regularly on a message board. Sit down, son.

And as I said in an earlier post, I will gladly match wits with your ass on any day.

Incorrect.

I'm sure you've personally measured his height.

The school has overlisted about every athlete on campus since I've been following UT sports. Most notably, Ron Slay managed to lose about 3 inches after he left school
