That's not it at all. Do you think we have looked disciplined. Do you not see the regressionI'm sure some players don't like the rules. Some of these players were probably pampered in high school and in their local communities.
Football aside, college is hard. One must be disciplined, organized and focused to succeed. It is why a large percentage of students that start the process don't finish the process. Pile on that the demands of playing football.
The best teachers I had and the best mangers that I have had in my career where those that pushed me hard . Did I like it? No. But later in life I understood how it had made me better prepared to handle anything life put in front of me.
You are either incredibly butt hurt or just stupid. You go on a rant about Jalen being the second leading rusher ( which he is not) then come back with stupid posts like this.
How could they say they were leaving because of the staff. That would be killing your chances with a new school and team. You can't come out and say something bad about your boss unless you want to be fired. I guarantee you when CBJ Is gone there will be players, coaches and longtime former VFL's come out and say what I said. They just can't do it right now. Each of those who departed seemed to suffer from playing time, lack of production, or violations. I can't think of any that said or insinuated that they were leaving because of the staff.
If anything, look at the product on the field. The staff has done everything to find those who will produce and put them out there. Think Jennings. Outside of the QB position, please name one spot where the current position was a lock or where someone who excelled on the field when given a chance didn't see more time in following games.
Your comment rings of opinion more than substance
Lol to even begin to put the SC loss on Jalen Hurd shows how ****ing retarded some of you are.

CBJ and his offense staff is the problem. No OL development, wrong rushing scheme for Hurd. CBJ is so stubborn he would force a peyton manning to run read option.
Not saying you right or wrong. But a large number of former players seem to support Butch. They have no obligation to do that. Nor do they face any repercussions by going against him. Why would they do that is what you say is true.
Why do i find this so easy to believe ? Because i've been suspecting that CBJ is decietful in a salesman like way and have mentioned it in some posts but just like the players you want to be supportive and you try to be. Sooner or later, if he's a B/Ser, it'll catch up to him. GBO!The players can't stand CBJ. I can't tell my sources of course and you don't have to believe me. Why do you think so many players have left in the past. Especially Tennessee recruits. He's such a salesman till you get here then it's all degrading you. It's not about playing time. It's about how he goes about giving you PTime. They can see he doesn't know what he's doing but feel trapped. Do I leave and let my team down my family down. Lose my paid schooling.
I'm not going defend Butch and the teams performance this year. But I don't get this argument. That's why Peyton would never play for Butch, he doesn't fit his system. Hurd knew the system when he committed and has played in it for two years. Why the surprise?
He quit, plain and simple.
How would you feel if you spoke against CBJ then attended homecoming or just wanted to come by the facility. That would in the very least be awkward. Wouldn't it???
Yes that was then. This is now. What are you supposed to say when someone asks you. So how do you like CBJ?I don't see that. You could still attend whatever you choose and be pleasant without openly supporting Butch. But most former players seem to commend him on the path of the program in articles and interviews. Seems like a year or two ago was one of larger gatherings of former players for a reunion in many years. I have no clue as to what they think of him. Just looking at outward actions. You can support the University without commenting one way or another on Butch.
Injuries all around him and him even suffering a few bad ones i think. This is pro material and dumb coaches keep crashing him into the heart of major SEC defenses powers behind a not so well developed line. His situation is different and it's not fair to compare him to AK and JK because they are lighter and if they were to pound into the line the way Hurd has they'd be licking wounds too. They rely on speed and Hurd is a power runner. Hurd's style requires a good blocking line. I truly think more than anything he is rightfully concerned about injury and i've got inside info as to his partying ways and self-centeredness but he's also preparing himself for the future. I don't like it anymore than anyone else on here but I'm not gonna judge another till i walk in his shoes and i'm sure there are others who aren't buying into CBJ's system. They are loyal vols and aren't gonna vocally degrade the program in public for various reasons. It's what you don't think that's being said that's concerning to this program's future.I'll back the orange team till i'm no longer breathing because i'm a tennesean and they are all i've ever known but there's a right way and a wrong way to criticize and a time. CBJ best wake up. This is the SEC and he was fortunate to have the talent this year. Time will tell.I'm not going defend Butch and the teams performance this year. But I don't get this argument.
