This laptop has been the subject of speculation for year's. How is it possible no one has presented the " daming" information to the public.

You all keep saying that but with "major" news channels, papers or websites not reporting truth you have to go look for news from individuals truly doing digging. Sara Carter is one. Tom Fitton is one. The guy from Epoch times, can't remember his name is a good one.

What I don't see is Democratic journalists truly doing any digging. To be fair, they probably get told to "drop it" if they start asking.

These people are judged on their veracity, just as all journalists are. Trying to say because one non-mainstream journalist has some level of integrity, doesn't mean that 99% of these clikbait "journalistic" websites have any at all.

Call out probable BS journalism when you see it, and I'll try do the same.

I don't see how any part of this story is a great development for Trump. He and Epstein were obviously friends who socialized with each other during the period of time when these crimes were being committed. It is even possible (perhaps likely) that one of Epstein's victims was assaulted at Mar-a-Lago. Trump was once named in a complaint (the 'Katie Johnson' accusation) against Epstein.

And if all of that is not enough, the plea deal that Alex Acosta brokered with Epstein's attorneys is about to undergo some intense scrutiny. There is no chance that Acosta comes out of this smelling like a rose. He gave a convicted sex offender 13 months in county jail and didn't even have the guts to tell the victims about this agreement beforehand (in violation of the law)... and he is still Trump's Secretary of Labor. Trump gave no indication today, that Acosta will be replaced any time soon.

It kills me how you want to make this a politically partisan issue. Could some of those edits be adding and removing the "Katie Johnson" accusations against Trump? Probably.

Lord knows I am not trying to defend any of this but I don't believe the bolded is technically accurate. If my understanding is correct, Epstein was not "convicted" until the agreement was made. No excuse for not telling the cooperative victims' attorneys about the potential agreement, but there could have been many reasons for reaching a lenient agreement for reasons unknown except to the prosecutor (i.e., certain victims being uncooperative/unreliable witnesses, lack of evidence for higher charges, etc). I am not up to speed on what exactly happened and from what I have read there would appear to be a lot of red flags, but there is also the chance that Acosta could have been potentially put in a very hard place where a lenient agreement was what he thought to be the best course of even getting any type of conviction (again not defending the lack of notifying the victims about the potential agreement as this is the biggest red flag that something was amiss).
