BS Pig has had issues since he has been here Given plenty of chances but blows it. Some of you act as if we are the only team that has team rule violations.
Another fan without a clue. This would've happened if we were 5-0 and you would've not cared. Has nothing to do with Butch Jones but has everything to do with Pig being a selfish person. I liked to watch him play but he can't stay on the field and is always having team rule issues. Some love other things more than football and those guys don't make it unless they get it straightened out. Pig never has.
Don't tell the U.S. Attorneys office that they are still prosecuting Marijuna cases in all 50 states, and there is nothing that the states can do about it.

You have a kid who has been given chance after chance after chance, and you point the finger at Butch... As much bad as he's done lately this isn't one of those things.
And it will most likely be 10 years for Congress to change that, but it will happen. Too many other countries have proven much more successful drug control methods, in prevention, treatment of the addicted, and in punishing offenders fairly for our country to lag behind much longer.
I went off on a tangent about Senate/Congress here so I'll just spoiler it for anyone who doesn't want to read it, though I left the last paragraph out because I think it summarizes being a Vol Fan lately really well in a real world/non sports way.
The Baby Boomer Generation won't do it because they still have the mindset that America is #1 in everything because of them and that anything they do is amazing because they are the best generation ever, and if it was a certain way in their time it should be in ours, but once the oldest Gen X and Millenials start taking office there will be far more changing than just the legality of weed, though I do believe it will be one of the first dominoes to fall, and probably the one with least resistance from the masses.
Unfortunately, it's not like a football team where you need the same players in a system to make them or the system better, and I hardly mean Marijuana here. Most of our congressmen and senators have been in for far too long (It's almost time for a new stat check, but the average sitting years for the 100 senators last they did it, way back in 2007, was 14.5 years).
I would say these changes would happen sooner than a decade, but at the rate incumbents win (84% for Senators and 85% for the House back in 2010) we really need the people in office to die off before any real change is going to take place.
Being American is a great example of being a Vol Fan the past ten years or so. Every season (election) we get all excited and hopeful thinking that THIS is the year things start to change, yet in the end even when we complained or went through a ton last season (previous elected officials who we know are crap) the same stuff ends out happening all over again when we lose close games or blow games we shouldn't have (re electing the same people who got us here) until we become so cynical and numb to it that we just don't care anymore.
That is until the end of the season when we trick ourselves into thinking NEXT YEAR is the year.

Anyone care to give the cliff notes version of the thread? I'm sure there are rumors, Butch blaming, and Pig blaming. Just the details, if anyone would be so kind.
