Phil is interested...

Everybody that doesn't want Fulmer is stupid. Name a reason u wouldn't want him?

(1) He has proven that he can't nake a good hire. He hired Dave Clawson, who ended up costing Phil his own job.

(2) The fan base is too divided over him now and he isn't the A.D. Imagine how divided it would be if he were hired as the A.D.

(3) He is still receiving $ from being fired as coach and would also receive a check for working as the A.D. So he would get two checks from U.T. at the same tim.

(4) He knows nothing about baseball or basketball and could care less about them. Those programs would suffer under his watch.

(5) He would end up firing Dooley or Dooley would resign because Fulmer would micro-manage the football program.

(6) Once Dooley is gone, Phil would appoint himself as coach again or hire Chavis or Cutcliffe as coach.

(7) The people who fired Phil in 2008 are the same one's who will hire the new A.D. Do you think that they would really hire him????

(8) I, personally, would not want Phil anywhere near a position which impacts the basketball program. We're already fairly nuked in that department.

These are all bias opinions. And f #2. We don't need half hearted fans. Its VFL. When we start winning the fans will be ok

There's more to being the Athletic Director than loving the school. Christ almighty...

But but but he gave his all to the university, to the tune of a couple million a year.

they've won like 2 NC titles in there history, so a conference title is a pretty big deal to them. Paterno really doesn't even coach, he's more like a mascot.

terrible point man if i were u i wouldnt ever speak on here. bc that was pitiful

smitty22 and Volforlife83 have to be Phil's daughters. No one else would stick up for him like they are. UT doesn't need someone who bleeds orange as AD, they need someone who knows what they are doing and has experience doing it.
