That's the dumbest comment i have ever seen just quit.

Do you honestly believe Phil would let the current football staff do their jobs like they want to?
Do you honestly think Phil knows anything about running a basketball or baseball program?

We need some UT blood running things up here. Aint Cheek a Gator? Yall want more UF or other outsiders representing and calling the shots for us? Aint no1 going to care about UT traditions and work their arse off like person who loves UT like Fulmer. So what he was loyal to a man on his staff. Dont mean he wont fire bs coaches. Phil has something to prove, he just needs the chance. This is Fulmers destiny. Go dress in your crimson and purple tigertrollvol. Sound like a fair weather fan to me

Loving UT doesn't mean you would make a good AD. If it did there would be literally thousands of qualified applicants.

What makes anyone think he can run an entire mens athletic program after the disaster we witnessed over his final ten years?

Running the program is a business. Coaching is not. Would you rather have a business savvy guy in there or a coach that led the team into a rut?

The SOB couldn't make a hire to get any of our tems as they should be. So he could raise money. Success does too. Want him gone now your going to take up for him. ****H

I never said I thought Hammy was great nor that I was taking up for him. My argument is that Phil shouldn't be AD.
Grow up.

Seeing him get turned down and passed over will be good.

Glad he's interested.

I'll always love Phil. With that being said, NO!!! We need to go after Louisville's or GT ADs.

JMOP.

Part of being an A.D. is the ability to make good hires.
Phil showed that he did poorly by hiring Dave Clawson.
He was loyal to his staff to the point that he promoted Randy Sanders, rather than hire someone else. Poor judgement!
Phil knows nothing about basketball or baseball!
Johnny Majors is just now making appearances at U.T. but if Phil became the A.D. that would abruptly stop.
I don't think he would do a very good job and he would not unite the U.T. fanbase, but his presence as A.D. would divide it again.
He would fire Dooley and hire Chavis or Cutcliffe!!!!!
