Petersen, home run. Pruitt was a cancer in the UGA locker room from what I understand. There is a reason Kirby did not want him on his staff. At least that is what I hear from my UGA insider. He is a cat that is in the know, he told me Richt would be fired 3 weeks before it happened.

I know it's not my money, but with our boosters and crazy fan support, you make Petersen the second highest paid coach in the nation if that's what it takes

Seriously if he is talking to as many coaches as reported then I'm not sure he has a clue.

Most schools do not talk to this many coaches before making a decision. I wonder if he is still getting a lot of "not interested".

I wonder if a lot of this is just "plants" to make it look like he has done the due diligence before he hires someone underwhelming.

Neither for me, but this stuff feeds the unrealistic expectations. We’re about as attractive to someone like Petersen as Peter McNeely was to women the day after he fought Tyson. Fulmer can’t fix that perception in three days.
