Get used to it guys. We will hear this kind of crap all year. We have already been hearing it since the first game of the season and its not going to stop and seems to be getting worse.

Tennessee hasn't made good choices in hiring basketball coaches during the last quarter century.

On the court, Bruce Pearl was a great hire and I can't understand why some people like to downplay his accomplishments at Tennessee. Even Gary Parrish (who isn't a big Pearl fan) admits that Bruce made this program nationally relevant in a way that it has never been.

Pearl deserves whatever he gets, but acting like replacing him will be easy is idiotic.

I usually don't listen to espn. But everything they said was right on. He di get FIRED. And is allowed to coach just so UT can make money off him via the BB program. They made a decision to try to keep that extra revenue coming in in hopes the ncaa will leave them alone. But I feel we will get busted out anyway and with Paerl being gone down the road and not getting ant good recruits the BB program will be back to how it was so we will ose out. So I guess Hamilton is trying to use the revenue as a chio in his favor as to how he is making UT even more money.

But most importantly Bruce got caught and we will go down with him.

Not that it matters to the haters but IMO the best college basketball writer thinks it makes zero sense to fire Pearl based on what we know. He is not alone. The facts are while Pearl has many that love him in the media there a more that have always hated him. They now have an excuse to express this. That is a fact. Hopefully the NCAA doesn't punish and the program as much as some think and we are able to recover from this black eye. Peace.

I would list him but I don't want the haters to start spamming him. lol If you follow sports you will come up with his name right away. BP will continue to get ripped. I'm okay with this as long as we keep winning. It didn't hurt us from signing 2 great guards. Got to wait on the NCAA rulings.

My disappointment is Pearl got cocky. Donovan invented BB at uf but no way he would try to go behind Foley because the AD is powerful. Pearl knew Hamilton hit the jackpot with him and he got the big head. Even now he still is allowed to be around. I been saying for years to get at top BB and FB coach we need a top AD. But that's just my opinion. But is goes back to the situation. Pearl would be scared to death to do this at UK or Duke or Kansas. But then again he wouldn't need to at those places.
