I may have not understood a lot, but my parents are tough, gotta give them that. Dad had a load of wood, and I'd told him wait till I got back to unload it. When I got here, they'd already moved the seasoned pile, bunch of it, and was unloading the truck. They old, but they work 🤣. He spent all day yesterday in the woods cutting it, and busting it up.

Go to your room and wait on your dad to get home. Found out what that meant. It was always a threat. Mom was the knee jerk whipper. Dad was the contemplater. That's always worse.

Wasn't a saying of my parents, but I had a right attractive chic ask me sometime back what a girl had to do to get a good hidin'. It was not immediately apparent to me what she meant, but as it turns out "a hidin'" is Brit slang for a spanking. It was at that point I realized I can resist and be faithful in any circumstance.
