Unfortunately, I found out what my parents meant by "say it again", or "do it again". Ironically, they weren't really giving me permission to say, or do it again
-- which unfortunately, my brain turned into "If you're not going to do it perfectly, don't bother do it at all." Took many, many years to get past that one.
Not a saying, but pronunciation, I guess - it took years for me to find out that the piece of furniture that I put my clothes in was not actually called a Chester Doors.

much fun and I really miss him.
