It seems like alot of responses tonight are from people who have never experienced a coaching change and do not realize how far we had fallen the past 8 yrs in talent. These are the times you either show your a true Vol fan or you show your a fair weather fan. Do I like to lose....no, to quote a football saying " they are who we thought they were" Stop thinking we were still at an elite status and accept the fact we are just barely ahead of Vandy, Ky and Miss St. in talent. Name calling and pointing fingers, cannot help the problem and it is time to show your true grit as a fan and get behind the rebuilding program and look forward to climbing back to the top.

We're definitely not out-coached, we were out-executed, and the have players that know how to keep a drive alive when things goes awry. But we were not out-coached. If we even execute half of our plays, the game would've been much different. But the special team cost us the game tonight.

Maybe he should have thought about that before he sent Boyd packing. I agree Boyd didn't "fit the system", whatever that is, but I think anybody would agree he would help with the situation we are in now. If he plays Crompton all year, he better pray Bray is a savior considering NS has no PT this year. What I find funny is: many say Crompton is the worst QB ever. If that is true, then NS must be better than the worst.

Our passing game is piss poor.....but the offensive line is actually pretty good. Crompton had plenty of time to throw tonight.....he just can't get it done! Our D-line, Linebackers, and the rest of our D is at least top 3-5 in the SEC. Auburn has an effective offense with really good running backs and a pretty accurate QB that just doesn't give up turnovers. If we had even a mediocre QB and receiving corp, then we would probably be 4-1. We are just at a huge talent deficit at the QB and WR positions this year. I didn't think there would be any way that Bray would start to begin the season next year.....but I am changing my mind if Stephens is that much worse that Crompton. Crompton is probably one of the 5 worst starting QB's in college football and Stephens can't convince Kiffin to give him a shot. The guy must be absolute garbage in practice.

You have just completed a 4th down conversion earlier in the drive. You need two scores, why settle for the field goal. If you go for the touchdown and get it, that pumps up your defense to stop them. Auburn was getting the ball after the score anyway. If you hold them, then you only need to get in field goal range.

Maybe you should get your facts straight. I have always said I wasn't sold on Kiffin. I also have said from the beginning that I thought it was time for a change. Please show evidence otherwise or STFU. If you want to resort to name calling, I assure you I can play that game as well.

Funny thing is I didn't join until Sep. You must be using a different calendar than the rest of us. In December, I was 5 months into a deployment overseas.

I agree that any fan that jumps off board during this rebuilding season, which we all knew it was coming in, should not be allowed back in a couple of years.

Crompton is just not going to get it done. Period. I think we have all figured that out. What I don't understand is Stephens really that bad? Would it not be worth trying?

Here is my biggest problem and some information many people may not know. Chad Cunningham kicking off has been a sore spot for this team and the coaching staff. What everyone is not really talking about is we have a kicker that transferred from Austin Peay to play for his favorite school. He puts the ball in the back of the end zone or through the endzone 9 out of 10 times during practice. Tonight, the coaching staff dressed him for the first time and told him that he would probably kick off. Of course, he did not. Anyone who watched this game or any other game can see Cunningham does not have the leg to do kick offs. My question is if Kiffin preaches competition so much and it is clear there is a better player to handle kick offs, why would he not make the switch? I KNOW it would be a huige benefit to this team to mix things up and put it in Stephens and let Rhome do the kick offs.

Maybe, but I know if we still had Fulmer we could definitely have added Florida's name and probably Ohio's name to your list.

out coached? jesus, general neyland wouldnt be able to make a crompton led team winners. and if anyone watched last season you'd realize that the ginger really is as bad as crompton and switching won't help us in the least. brilliantly stupid people have access to the internet..

i am so sorry i misspelled kiffin's name, my bad, i am so sorry, i just think its funny how fast people jump off the bandwagon when a few games dont go great. i mean seriously what do you want him to do?
