The lack of talent excuse is very damn tired.
Are you kidding? We're starting walkons, tight ends, and injured guys on the OL. Their units are far superior and have been for years. Last year was an exception for UCLA because they had about 10 offseason injuries on the OL. That wasn't the case this year.
ucla started how many freshman against us. traveled 2500 miles and won. also they actually looked alittle like they knew what they were doing, us on the other hand well we all know the story. we are still trying to figure it out. lane talks a great game, but all it is, is talk.
Please Jump off the LaneTrain and for that matter jump off the Tennessee Train b/c if you think the coaching staff is getting out coached, you sir are a moron. What the heck type of expectations for this team do you have??? National Championship? WE HAVE NO PERSONAL at key positions. Please think before you talk.
Trust me, it's not nearly as tired as fans calling for the damn coach's head five games into his college career.
Our OL is probably the worst in the conference. The DL is middle of the pack. The linebackers are down there. Not sure about the receivers, but none of them have ever done anything. It's not a great sign when your leading receiver didn't have a single catch last year. The QBs are by far the worst in the conference and quite possibly the worst in the nation. Kiffin is bringing a knife to a gunfight in most games.
We were outcoached. Our head coach is completely unwilling to adjust his scheme to our personnel. We ran he wildcat ONE time and it was a big play and never went back to it. We do nothing but run a conventional offense that has little chance to succeed. It is getting to the point now of absurdity. I was a major supporter of Kiffin, but I have no confidence at this point in his ability to do his job effectively.
Conventional offense for conventional players. When you have a stupid quarterback who can't play, receivers that can't catch, special teamers who should be playing HS football still, linebackers that can't tackle, and kickers who can't kick......go ahead, install a complex/high risk offense. We'd have lost to Ohio.
Stupidity is out in full force tonight.
Really, you mean the wildcat offense we got our single big play out of? The one that is nothing but a glorified quarterback sweep and would utilize our only area deep with talent? That's too complicated for us to do, but our quarterback who has shown no capability to operate an offense dropping back and making reads is somehow legitimate? And I'm the stupid one?
1. UCLA
2. AUBURN
3.?
Who's next? I will admit, I have one leg off the train. I'm not impressed. I've never in my life seen a coach so stubborn and full of himself. I just don't get it.
I will say this, he is losing the fan base fast. REAL FAST
