Not sure I agree with your statement, most of the time the guy with the whistle at practice has most of the control of who plays and how they play!Yes, Martin is somewhere between a mediocre and bad coach. But you guys are TOTALLY overrating the talent on this team. UT is not, in fact, very talented. This team has ONE good player--McCrae. That's it. Stokes is the team's second best player, but he's a tweener--a power forward who can only play close to the basket but lacks the size and length and quickness and shooting to be special.
After those two, who? Precisely. Everybody after those two is utterly average. Got a coupla freshmen who might develop into good players--but right now they're just freshmen. See this team for what it is--mediocre talent, mediocre coach that in fact probably won't make the tournament. We've lost to all but one of the decent opponents we've played this year.

Anyway you look at it, it comes back to Martin. From his poor recruiting to trading for a much less talented PG. Get him out.

Going up weak with the ball is more of a problem than just facing taller opponents. These 6'7ish guys are soft as marshmellows. At least 5 of those blocks don't happen if they go to the rim with authority instead of acting like their afraid to break a nail.

OP, you have got to be kidding me. We have at least 2 future NBA players in Stokes and McRae and you're going to tell me that we have mediocre talent? GTFO!
Are u talking about the "Stokes" that played against the Tn Tech & Tn St's of the world or the guy last night?..He might make it to the NBA because they draft on what they seeas potential, but he will never have a real impact on a NBA roster with what he is as a player now..I truly believe the majority of money he mades playing basketball will be overseas not in the NBA
