I get what you're saying but I think in todays climate, its best to keep a good relationship. Especially coaches because any player can be a recruit the next year. I don't like it, I love watching high schoolers come in, stay and work and grow in a program. It is what it is now, you need to keep good relationships for future endeavors. Now if its their senior year I say see ya...

This is true. Never know what future years could hold. Especially as our team has success, our program will become more attractive.

As for Oh, this is good for her imo. Personality type will do better in a strict system with a lot of structure and less pressure to produce and develop right away. Also SC fans ride exceptionally hard for their players, which will hopefully give her a little time to grow. South Carolina doesn’t NEED her and that’s a plus for her.

Did I even play sports??? I played rugby for 26 years. 100s of 80 minute games with 5 minute halftimes. No time outs, no TV timeouts, and rarely playing without some sort of nagging injury, i.e., separations, small fractures, hyperextensions, sprains, ligament damage, etc. I’ve seen men dying to come off the pitch because their will has been crushed. Some of them by my own doing. So yeah, I think I know a little about what it takes to be an athlete.

No player asks to come out??? You must not know that when a football player taps his helmet that’s the signal he’s asking to come out. I’ve also seen BB players raise their hands asking to come out. Rugby players don’t have that luxury. We just suck it up and keep bringing it to our opponent.

Sometimes a "true" athlete fails to recognize his limitations and needs a coach to recognize when he's hurting the team effort and needs a break. Just sayin'
