You can certainly see it during that McDAAG. I agree if that was going to be Oliviyah Edward’s level of performance put forth might as well sat out. Again, I mentioned it instantly this 2026 class is one I don’t expect much of anything from nearly all of these freshmen in college this upcoming season that played in those all-star games. I believe some of the other recruits in the Top 50-100 will have better careers. Can’t wait to see it.

Edwards doesn’t need Tennessee, and obviously Tennessee doesn’t need Edwards. She can only hope to have half the career that Kaylene Smikle and Fatmata Janneh have as they enter their senior years. Both players are way ahead of Edwards and should be due to experience but saying she would be a star & those players the supporting cast was grossly inaccurate. She first needs to figure out how to decide on a school and then start maturing for the college game.

That’s fair. I, too, watched the MDAAG… it was less than impressive the whole way thru for all players involved. I’d say Oh flirting with a double double wasnt awful but… either way. We won’t know how any of these things end up til next season anyway.

true, but i do think the team we have coming in has a chance to be really good. i wish edward’s the best, but she’s gonna hop around from school to school i feel like.

Even if every game went to OT which is damn near statically impossible... Kids barely play every game nowadays & will sit out for minor stuff and the op thinks someone can avg 40 mins? Lol no way. 35mins would be impressive. Even then that's pushing it.

How long did it take South Carolina to win a national championship? LSU? When is the last time Texas won a national championship?
Saying Tennessee will never be on top again is just a ridiculous statement. Don’t nobody have a clue what will happen this season.. let alone predicting the future.

I do think we will someday return to the top of the sport.

I just don't think it's going to happen under this staff.
