I get what you're saying but I think in todays climate, its best to keep a good relationship. Especially coaches because any player can be a recruit the next year. I don't like it, I love watching high schoolers come in, stay and work and grow in a program. It is what it is now, you need to keep good relationships for future endeavors. Now if its their senior year I say see ya...I only care about what the players at Tennessee does, really don't care what Edwards does at SC.
He only came out because Barnes took him out. Any true athlete could see it wasn’t his choosing to come out.Never played entire game or avg 40 mins a game..nice try tho. Next.
Literally would have to play EVERY MIN of EVERY game to avg 40 mins. Never will happensome of yall just post complete nonsense and actually believe it. Its wild.
This is true. Never know what future years could hold. Especially as our team has success, our program will become more attractive.I get what you're saying but I think in todays climate, its best to keep a good relationship. Exactly. No reason. That’s why player’s can feel trapped ala Talaysia.Really like how Dawn played this though. She didn't commit until the portal closed she wasn't going to allow any of the other five inside players to think about leaving. Well played cause I think she probably committed that day and was put on hold to announce.
Did I even play sports??? I played rugby for 26 years. 100s of 80 minute games with 5 minute halftimes. No time outs, no TV timeouts, and rarely playing without some sort of nagging injury, i.e., separations, small fractures, hyperextensions, sprains, ligament damage, etc. I’ve seen men dying to come off the pitch because their will has been crushed. Some of them by my own doing. So yeah, I think I know a little about what it takes to be an athlete. No player ask to come out. Did you even play sports?
I used to tell my baseball players waaaaaay back in the day if they booted a routine ball while playing defense, " I can put a one year old baby out there to boot it, you're there to get it!"Reminds me of my high school band teacher- Mr. Zimmerman --who would lose it when someone would say "I am trying my best," after missing a note,
His response was something like, "if your boat sinks in the Atlantic ocean and you swim 20 miles but drown 100 feet from the shore, you are still dead."
