Not to poo poo on Jackie, but I mentioned two players that were discriminated against and played during the same era. Let’s not act like Jackie was the only one taking all that hate. Jackie Robinson was a great player but he never even hit 20 home runs in a season and for all the talk about his speed, he only had one season with more than 30 stolen bases. Yeah I know I am blasphemous lol
Ok, who is your most overrated player and most underrated player in MLB history?

That SEC Hoops series has been phenomenal. It traces the history of SEC basketball, men’s and women’s. Really worth a binge if you haven’t been keeping up.

Dale Murphy is definitely the most underrated imo but I am also biased haha. Let me think about the most overrated…

Most recently I would probably have to say Anthony Rendon because he didn’t deserve that contract to begin with, even with all the injuries factored in. Stephen Strasburg has always been overrated to me. I’ll have to think historically though.

The more I look at his career, I might have to go with Roger Maris as the most overrated…

I know he won 2 MVPs but he didn’t do anything great outside of a 3 year stretch. He will always be known for that 61 homer season but outside of that year he only hit 30+ homers two other seasons and was a career .260 hitter.

Sorry mad (language warning)

You know my underrated player is Eddie Matthews.
I think one day we’ll look back and realize that Miguel Cabrera has one hell of a career as well.
I’d have think about overrated??

He could definitely be a candidate.
I think Duke Snider was the better player.

I think Trout could be one of the best ever but he's always injured lately and plays on a awful team that will probably never win anything........Now that said, he's probably the nicest guy in MLB history!
I think he’s a baller when healthy and I would like to see him and Ohtani get off the West coast.
Get them somewhere where they can be seen and appreciated.
I don’t even like the RedSox but at least if they went somewhere like that, you could actually watch them play.
For selfish reasons I’d like it to be the Braves or Mets.😎
