Yeah but we are in the WAR era of baseball now. Doesn’t matter about games played, hits, AB’s, SO’s...I like Trout but the constant hype for someone constantly injured and has never won anything
Honestly I’m a little ticked too. We learned base running and bunting situations in little league. It was very frustrating to watch imo. Still think this is a good team but man, nothing gets me more upset than mental mistakes. It shows that you are not focused on your craft. The back door has been left open over in the game thread, so y'all know what that means...
Physical mistakes happen, but mental mistakes should be rare at this level. This was not a clean game by any means, so hopefully lessons learned earlier in the season rather than late in the season.Honestly I’m a little ticked too. Lol it was just a coincidence that you went to that game and it was wild.
That’s some good ones to be at!Actually, we have a history of going to wild games, especially in baseball. We don't go to that many games (so far regular season last and this year: 6 games) but those included:
- today
- the Bama game last year when Dollander got hit in the arm and CTV bumped Macias and was ejected. We sat in the LF bleachers and were very close to Macias, 3rd base ump. Kids learned some new words.
- the Ben Joyce 105 game vs Auburn
- Bonus: The Wright state Gilbert walk off grand slam
