I’m saying I’m not anyone near D1 material but if an average Joe like myself could make the regular situational plays then I expect that as the bare minimum of these dudes. I’m not saying you have to make every single play but damn at least be in the right position. They are way too gifted to be having these brain aneurysms on the field.Well you were obviously an All American who never made an error or mental mistake. Unfortunately these guys are mere mortals and not super stars like you...
Meh. We beat them in basketball in 2022-23, 2023-24, and twice in 2024-25. Last 4 in a row.Lost in basketball and baseball in 2022….Haven’t played them in football since 1969.
As of May 23, 2025, the Tennessee Volunteers baseball team holds a Rating Percentage Index (RPI) of 10 and a Strength of Schedule (SOS) ranking of 17 nationally . Their overall record stands at 43–15, with a 16–14 mark in Southeastern Conference (SEC) play .Do we have a chance at getting one of the top 8 seeds?
These jokers are late to the party, we already knew that late May and early June baseball is a thang in Knocksville now.As of May 23, 2025, the Tennessee Volunteers baseball team holds a Rating Percentage Index (RPI) of 10 and a Strength of Schedule (SOS) ranking of 17 nationally . Their overall record stands at 43–15, with a 16–14 mark in Southeastern Conference (SEC) play .
The Volunteers have demonstrated strong performance against top-tier opponents, securing 14 wins in Quadrant 1 (Q1) games, which involve matchups against the most competitive teams . This success against high-caliber competition bolsters their postseason credentials.
With their current RPI and SOS standings, Tennessee is well-positioned for a favorable seed in the NCAA Tournament, potentially earning the opportunity to host a regional. Their performance in the ongoing SEC Tournament will further influence their postseason trajectory.
But yes, that was an incredibly asinine statement @VolPack22Happens to the best of us sometimes.
I lost my cool for a bit yesterday too.
GBO!!
Fact remains Texas proved it over an entire regular season. We don’t get to beat the drum year and then try to put down other programs all because they lose 1 meaningless SECT game whenever it’s not even double elimination anymore. Their seeding is already set and they literally had nothing to play for. Even with these last two wins, we are still 9-13 since that “no-hitter” vs A&M, lost 5 straight SEC series, and 6 out of 7, to end the season. Baseball is about winning SERIES and this team has yet to prove they can do that the second half of the schedule.Meh. We beat them in basketball in 2022-23, 2023-24, and twice in 2024-25. In baseball we beat them today and knocked them out of the SEC tourney. We are undefeated against Texas in SEC games. They didn’t get 3 games against Mizzou in the tourney. Last year we won the national championship.
I don’t know why you are blowing them so hard today. I guess because you panicked when they got out to an early lead and said they are “the real UT.” That is one of the worst posts I’ve ever seen on this board. And it bit you in the arse when we won. Major fail.
You’re still digging.
I refuse the forgiveness.OK, I forgive you, @VolPack22
I take it back. I don’t forgive you, and I stopped reading that after your first four words. Save your breathe, I’m a Vols fan.
