So quick to judge, and so quick to assume...

First off, if you read the really small type at the bottom of my original post, you will find that it says "Posted on Volnation Mobile" or something similar. If picking out a spelling error made by a teacher during a quick post on a mobile device gives you joy, then have at it. Good eye, keep it up.

Secondly, you make the incorrect assumption that the underlying meaning of "perseverance and longsuffering" is that we should have kept Fulmer; you could not be more incorrect. I have long been critical of both Fulmer's play calling and management style. I developed that opinion over the course of seasons, not weeks. It is irresponsible and unintelligent to make a fully authoritarian statement concerning Dooley's quality as a program builder at this point.

I wasn't saying he was "some scrub recruit." I was saying he wanted it every play. Many on this fanbase did not believe hardesty would amount to anything after his knee surgery.

You hit the mecca if you have top talent and they are self motivated. I was saying I would take self motivated over "top end talent." Stop swinging your arguements to extremes. Most answers lie within the middle.

The players cost them that win just as much as the coaches. The players are slow and there's no depth. No coach in the country would be much better. That lsu win was a fluke loss by the hands of the genius of les miles. The man is just lucky. What you saw Saturday was Eric gordan play MVP for Georgia... The coaches didn't ask him to cough up the ball. The defense sucks, but looked worse than normal for the simple fact of TOs which caused them to stay on the field. The coaches have made some good moves: hunter, Neal, stone, Rogers so far and a few that are committed now like Worley makes me hopefully for a bright future.

of course it is,everything is all Fulmers fault.. I mean Oku was brought here by the guy who replaced Fulmer so obviously Fulmer is to blame. Dang I keep forgetting that every saturday it rains in Knoxville its Fulmers fault.

I can't believe they didn't beat Auburn yesterday.. I really thought they were going to pull it out.. I'm still trying to figure out how we wiffed on Cobb.... I think he was a 2 star (could be wrong), but I wish we had him and C. Newton now..:ermm:

Poole has one more year and Neal is a beast. Tom smith comes in next year. We're fine. Neal has looked really good so far.

Nothing personal against Oku, but if it's true, I can't really say that I care. I'm numb to it all at this point.

Maybe if he'd proven himself to be a big play threat on special teams or a force in the backfield, but I'm over mourning the loss of someone who may or may not be good.

Look the 900 pound gorilla that no one wants to mention is the fact that it appears we got LOI's from the number 1 and 2 RB's in the nation and they are BOTH bust. Yeah, for stars!! Maybe these highly rated players work well for others, and yes they do appear to, but when we get the top recruits they end up either bust or holding up kids at gas stations. It's just bad luck.

Are you talking about Brown and Oku? Is that how Scout had them ranked?

Brown isn't really a bust...but he isn't playing for us anymore, so I guess you could call it that.

As for Oku....he was the Rivals #1 all purpose back...but everybody and their neighbor knew that Trent Richardson was a better back (he was the number 2 or 3 running back on Rivals, behind Brown).

Great point! He is also at fault for the recent drought. He should have known better than to recruit the way he did. He should have been recruiting players for kiffen and Coach Dooley to use. What a fool he was to recruit for his own system.

Brown was 1 and Oku 1 over all. And somehow neither have done anything for us. I'm all for getting the number one class and top guys in but our 2005 class was suppose to great and they stunk. Almost 30% of Kiffin's class is already gone. This class seems to be sticking but I'm just in shock at our bad luck.

I'm having a hard time blaming Oku or any back for that matter as far as performance goes this year. Hardesty couldn't have run behind this offensive line either....
