Sorry but it still has to be proved that he said it. I can say you said it but at the end of the day I still have to prove that you said it. If without a doubt then he should be. But your already convicting the guy with hearsay. You also have 2 who said
they did not hear him say it

People that yell about shooting something up never do, it’s always the quiet one that nobody thought would. Look it up. People that verbally lash out when pissed typically have their say and move on

Everyone is focusing on the alleged "shoot up the school" comment. Come on people. This was an argument between a bf and gf. Read everything about this case and put it all together. She stated that he's gotten angry in previous arguments (multiple times) and punched things, yet she's never called police before. She found another chicks lashes in his room. She was not in fear. She is a woman scorned. I'm not condoning his behavior, but do you honestly see this young man as a "school shooter". I'm just tired of seeing men get arrested if they piss a woman off for whatever reason. It sounds like an unhealthy relationship that they both should get out of, but if the "witnesses" were her gal pals that showed up to support her in confronting her man, then they are not reliable. I think this whole thing is being blown out of proportion.

I agree 150%. People are so easy to get offended or worked up. As a teen you know how many times I either said or heard “ I’m going to kill you”. ? It’s rediculous that someone can’t vent frustration without someone being offended or terriffied

I agree completely, BUT in today's society, there's no way the school doesn't make an example of him if they can't prove he didn't say it imo. It's sad, but it is what it is unfortunately.

In the end it matters not what I or you or any other random person thinks is right or wrong. If the rule is no alcohol, no screaming at your gf, etc etc etc and if one violates said rule then you have to pay the piper when said rule is violated. Why must we have these endless, pointless discussions? Asking for a friend of course.

No way to possibly prove that he said it. No one saw him say anything. Someone thought they heard a person say it through a wall. Suspend him for a game and be done with it.

Dudes gonna sit a game. Don’t make threats against anybody and especially don’t threaten to shoot up a school. That’s a serious thing that cannot be ignored. Based on current info I would be surprised if he sat out more than the opener.

I expect Pruitt to use the Steve Spurrier "Rules of Conduct" and keep him out until the FL game, and then suddenly all is good and he is back on the practice field.

If the guy below is representing BT, then there is no way he will be kicked off the team for this misdemeanor especially if UT ADMIN, Fulmer and Pruitt want to keep Bryce.

The court of public opinion would have a field day on the university if he was allowed to play. It was the right decision to suspend him pending further information coming to light.

Lol no he won’t if that one witness statement can’t be corroborated then I don’t see how they can boot him, the school already had one former Vol who had to lawyer up to get back in after not being charged, do they think they’d win this time?

Don't give a damn about the so-called court of public opinion or mob rule for that matter. Last I checked, there's no such thing in the constitution and it's absolutely the WRONG decision. He's innocent until proven guilty...end of story.

We have individual/God given rights, and I know several who have died fighting for them. I will defend and argue for the right to be judged in a court of law vs the court of public opinion. If he's found guilty, suspend him or kick him off the team. Until that is proven in a court of law, he has the right to live his life as free men should.

This isn’t pruitts call. If the school allows him to stay he will be back. I think it is certainly possible the school boots him, however, if he did make that comment. In today’s climate no school administrator is going to let that fly. Just imagine the repercussions if he did make that comment and then something happened down the road. And no I don’t think he has any intention of doing that, but that’s not the point.
