Official Nashville Predators Thread

Going to the Sens game on Thursday. Can't wait. I'm on the Vols board and see "CBJ" and "Jones" and have to remind myself it isn't Columbus and Seth.

I'll be hitting about 30 game this season.

Will also will be keeping an eye on the Caps and Pens as well to see how our formers are doing.

I was heartbroken when they traded Hornqvist away. He was the only one who seemed to bring it every night but with a new coach and new players, who knows.

I made it to about 15 games last season living in Mt Juliet but only be able to hit up 5 or 6 this season since I moved 5 hours away for school.

What a great country we live in where a redneck like me could grow up going to games, watching guys like Mario Lemieux (well past his prime but an honor nonetheless), Steve Yzerman, Joe Sakic, Jaromir Jagr, Jarome Iginla, Niklas Lidstrom, Pavel Datsyuk, etc. play. It's a shame most people around here don't care, and the ones that do are all, "Stanley Cup or heads roll hurr durr!"

The difference in systems is drastically different.

Outshooting our first two opponents by wide margins. The pressure is much different as well..harder forechecking & more D men pinching down keeping pucks in the zone.

Forsberg continues to look really good.

Outshooting our opponents like this is shocking for me. I remember nights where we struggled to put up 10 shots.

FF has already been exponentially better, and Neal is going to get his. I don't think he's the 40g guy we want, but maybe 30-35 and he'll be fine

3-0-1, yahtzee. You almost would rather Hutton take Winnipeg and Rinne back vs. Chicago, but maybe 4 games is more of a rhythm thing early on

I like Rinne against Winnipeg to help ensure we win at least one game. We probably wouldn't beat Chicago even with Rinne, and we might have lost to Winnipeg with Hutton.

Forsberg has been filthy. I think he'll end up the high end talent he was hyped up to be two years ago.

We have a stud on our hands.
