Official Nashville Predators Thread

You must be happy then :)

A nice start for sure. I love Forsberg's humble attitude. I think we need to focus almost all of our scouting on Euros as I believe they're much more likely than North Americans to sign reasonable long-term contracts to play here. Superstar NA players will play in a big market if they can, but Euros (particularly those from the Nordic countries and Switzerland) tend to appreciate all the small things that make playing in Nashville stand out, and they're generally not obsessed with winning the Cup to the degree of the entitled NA superstars.

Personally I think Nashville is an awesome city. Great fans

Stuff that should matter but rarely does IMO.

I think Nashville is a great town as well, but it really is a small city in comparison. I think its like 25th in population and that plays a major role in attracting free agents.....for the most part.

I agree, I'm just acknowledging the reality of the situation. We need Finland, Sweden, and Switzerland like UT needs North Carolina and Virginia.

Agreed.

Still unbeaten in regulation. We're winning & not playing our best hockey which is pretty encouraging.

Neal is starting to look like himself. Had a snipe to tie it at 3 & was an inch away from the game winner in OT.

Point streak comes to an end tonight.

With Rinne in goal I'm confident. Hutton did exceptionally well against them.
