Again, the list is short. There is a lot of smokey evidence toward other things, but for the most part all we know is Butch is gone. That's a relief... but not much of one for me. I'm trying to feel better about this by finding more facts, but it seems to be a lot of talk.

If you're looking for facts on a message board, you pretty much have to rely on at least some degree of trust for everything you read.

Right, until the witnesses start saying things that directly contradict each other.

The point being it seems we are heavily, heavily reliant on a bunch of anonymous posts on the internet to guide our thinking on the situation.

I see what you're saying, but how is Butch being gone a fact? I don't think you're going to find too many facts in this thread. At least not provable ones.

Super underrated, I agree. I really enjoyed last year up until SEC play and the wheels fell off. I really think Vitello was a tremendous hire. Looking forward to it OT.

Butch being gone is a conclusion based on facts. Not a fact. I've got it in a separate list for that reason.

Honestly, pass.

I live up near Baltimore and the people up here are pretty much done with him. We won the super bowl a few years ago thanks to the leadership of a few dominating players on that defense as well as a historic performance by Flacco. After that game, he determined to get rid of all the “alpha males”’ to solidify his ownership of the locker room (according to local radio).

Team went on to totally lose its identity, and the last several years have been a mess of poor player development, bad identification of talent in the draft, and bad play calling due to a coach too stubborn to realize that Joe Flacco is no longer the same Flacco that carried the Ravens to a super bowl. Still insists on throwing the ball 30-40 times per game, even with a bad QB, bad pass protection, and nobody to throw to. Absolutely infuriating.
