I am hoping that all this waiting on the firing of Butch is the timing with Gruden to be ready to be announced...maybe Gruden has some things to square away before he is ready to "take the job" (I think Hawk alluded to this earlier)

Not if he’s the best option at interim. If you already know who your next coach is, you slow play it and try to get to a bowl.

Not the best if he covered up a player playing 2 quarters with a concussion. Not doing anything to the assistant coach whom the player told on the sidelines. And an AD not doing anything about it and allowing him to coach the next week if nothing changes between now and Saturday.

I'm still amazed this isn't a big topic in here, seeing as If something isn't done between now and Saturday it'll be bad news for the University.

Vfl coordinator resigned and starting quarterbacks mom starts movement to start petition to keep Davis on staff.
No Beaver sighting
Vol calls has Butch sounding resilient, I am sure.
Gruden is coming to the Vols, Brown's, or Bucs.
