How are Tennessee’s lawyers NOT telling John Currie he is basically B.E.G.G.I.N.G for a damn lawsuit at the moment by holding onto Butch Jones.

Between Butch having half knocked out players out there taking snaps, allegation after allegation of player abuse, rape cover up..... every year it seems like his guy has a smoke storm of this type of crap.

Now the Davis resignation over hostil work environment.

Is John Currie the one with a traumatic brain injury?

IMHO, the reason Currie is not announcing the Jones firing yet is he is giving him the decency of finding another job before being let go (hence the rumors of South Alabama and negotiated buyout).

What do you make of the fact that the same site (thereadoptional) broke these three stories in the last week?

1 Gruden offered $10 million per by TN
2 Butch buyout worked out so he can land elsewhere
3 Brett Kendrick concussion

What’s at play here? Who is behind this and who benefits?

Exactly.....I think this unfortunate thing for Kendrick landed in Currie's lap and if true, he has a chance to save a ton of money with the same end result he has wanted....just earlier. JMO

There is an obvious financial benefit to that, and it could be part of the renegotiated buyout. And IF a replacement is already in place the delay does not effect you adversely....unless your numbskull coach plays a kid with a concussion.

The Kendrick situation, if the coaches knew, was a wild card event.

I can very well see where this could've been the plan, but losing to Kentucky and the whole Kendrick thing may have thrown a poop burger into the whole deal. Hence Currie's less than thrilled picture from the other night after the Kentucky game and the reported blow up yesterday.
