He hasn't been afraid to sport UT gear in the past, so it is odd he went black FFCA gear at the game today.

That is what I found odd. He is vocal on national TB about his love of the VOLS, his son goes here, he has been seen on the sidelines in the past wearing VOLS apparel, yet at a home games, not a bit of orange.

That does seem odd.

well, by wearing black he actually stood out more. If he wanted to blend in then orange would certainly have done that. I really don't have a clue or theory tho...

Would have been odd for him to be all Vol’d up with all the coaching rumors at DEFCON 1. He’s always been about respect...this was more of the same.

I think if they fire Butch, the should just let Bob do the whole thing and call it the Bob Kesling show. What a hoot that would be.

Odd, not at all. Smokescreen with Jones being on the "hot seat." Being respectful!!

He has been about respect, but if that were the case I don't think he would have been as visible as he was all weekend.

Gruden morning fellow Grudenites.

Anything interesting happen while I was gone? Who won the game yesterday...wait, don't tell me. I just don't care.

You had people suspicious of your absence. Hahaha

Suspicious of what? Saturday is Maryville College football (where my son plays). I was in beautiful, scenic Montgomery Alabama. (Typing that almost made me throw up.)

Isn't it part of his contract to do the show? My question would be and someone who knows more help me out here, If he doesn't do it without being fired would it not be breach of contract on the University's part?

Butch should be fired during his show ala old wrestling show style.
Mid broadcast, we hear a commotion from off stage.
Suddenly, Gruden comes running into the shot steel chair in hand.
He hits Butch over the head with the chair and then scoops him up and bodyslams him through the desk.
All the while Kessling is squealing, "No, Jon! For the love of humanity!"

I wanted to see that during last Mondays "leadership reps" press conference. I wanted Gruden to show up and pull a Dirty Dutch Mantell.

To suddenly go incognito when everyone knew he was visiting his son, would’ve fueled more mass hysteria. :scare:
