From the Twenty-Fourth Book of Orange:
I have traveled through fire and water, a Lone Rider upon a white steed. Dark were the days before me, when He that shall not be named covered the world in a third darkness, corrupting all that is true and good to his ill will. The peoples of the land cowered in fear of the Vile Beast, perched within his fortress in the wastelands of the southern world. But I said unto thee that gathered in the mountains, when the beacons were lit and the white smoke rose above the last, great city of the world, "Lo, I have come in time of great peril, in time of dire need. Fear not, my brothers and sisters, the end of all that is loathsome will soon come to pass."
"I have wandered the earth for many an age, seeking the wisdom of those that have passed before me. And though this world has fallen into shadow, soon, a great light will shine from the Hill, for all the darkness to witness. It will spread like water crashing on a beach, swift and brutal it shall be. For I am the One, the Light, the wandering Orange Pilgrim that comes from the East. Through me, all will be undone. The dawn of the Orange Tribe is upon us. Arise, brothers and sisters of the prophet Peyton! For I am with thee, at the new beginning of the world.
For soon, the One True Gruden shall be among thee. The veil shall be lifted from this world. In place of a Dark Lord, a light shall erupt from the East. I will purge the Earth of this petulance. So sayeth the One True Gruden."
