Let me just say I sincerely appreciate and understand your frustration with the past hires by the administration that was endorsed by the boosters. However, the Tennessee football program is made up of more than the two groups I just mentioned.
I am a VFL regardless of the mistakes we made and will make in the future. With all this said, if you give up on Tennessee, I wish you well and please don't let the door hit you in the *** on the way out.

May I suggest you go cheer for Saban you would certainly be happier.

Commercial just shown on MNF. Dish Network. A Vols game was showing on one of the actor's ipads.

Another commercial. Gruden for Dunkin Donuts. The word Dunkin is UT orange.

Let me preface this post by saying up front that I know I can gtfo, no one cares, I'm not a real fan, etc. etc. etc.

That being said, I'm not necessarily saying it's Gruden or bust but if they screw this up and either don't fire Butch or fire him and attempt to shove another bargain bin hire down our throats, I believe I am done.

Seriously, as much as I hate to say it, I think I will walk away and find something less futile to invest my time in.

Group sentiments, no doubt. It's getting really old and the energy reserve is running on fumes.

Lose decent to Bama and win the rest, Butch stays. Don't think anyone expects it to happen though. However, if it does, it would be reasonable to bring him back.

That would cripple Tennessee football for another 4-5 years. Jones has become a laughing stock in national sports media and he is dragging UT with him.

Think, people.
Kansas State wears purple.
The last time that Gruden saw John Currie, he was where?
Kansas State.

Soon.

OK stay with me here....

Purple's compliment is what... Yes Yellow, Tennessee Pantone 151 when broken down into printing terms (CMYK) has a Yellow Value of... Yes Yellow at 100%!

Gruden is the perfect compliment for Tennessee, Soon

Agree. But what do you consider "bargain bin" in terms of coaching?

As Coach Jones would say:

"There comes a point when 'all three phases' of the game annoy you. At that point, you have to throw 'resiliency' out the window and channel your 'energy' into something more positive. Otherwise a mediocre coaching hire would be an 'energy vampire', and nobody that has had their 'energy' sucked out by said vampire can become a 'champion of life'."

I'm with you brother. I love UT and supported them even when it's not much fun, especially living in Bama for 3 years. But another ridiculously mediocre hire and I think I'm done. I'm hanging by a thread now.

It makes it difficult when you support a superpower like Bayern who is always winning.

This list doesn't make me overly excited. Petrino would win, but I don't see that happening. i see the AD looking for a long term coach and he's too unreliable.
Cooter would make me somewhat excited, but he's unproven.
Brohm looks good, but how would he do as a head coach in the SEC. Another unproven.
Frost is not going to happen.
Pruitt just no.

I do not like this list...

It does not make me happy.

Just think, some fans get to watch their team go to the big dance many times, season after season...

We are haggling over 9-3 and we dont fire our coach.

Personally Im ready for our turn, sometime, before the world blows itself all to hell, a taste of this same greatness.

That wont happen with Lyle, even if he wins out this season, it wont be consistent.

Im ready for consistent. The mere mention of Grude will cause mass decommits. He would recruits five stars by flashing that ginormous Super Bowl ring.

No. Its time.

And not a moment too...soon.
