GA and roommate of Gruden's when they were at Tennessee.
Likely source from Hargis's report last week from a "potential staff member"
How is he not reliable and this Knoxville media who are telling us it's strong, Fedora, Gundy, no it's not, yes it is, no it's not...etc. are any better?
Your description is kind of how I've been thinking about it. But I'm having trouble imagining the willingness of parties involved to play it this way, knowing that if it comes out we were just "testing" the waters, how angry it would make the schools who gave their coaches a raise and extension because we were fishing around. If I were an AD at Louisville or OSU right now, I'd be ready to literally kills UT's Administrators. Completely unethical. There's alot of layers to this that we don't know and may never know.
I posted this theory on the Grider / Gruden thread:
Sure, he will end up of his staff. But his important first unofficial job will be dead period prospect analyst. JG will have a shortened recruiting period. What if JG already had a list of top prospects that would come just on his name, ones that a little visit would take care of, ones that would take some serious convincing and the ones that were just not coming no matter what. How much time could that save a guy. We know that JG is very organized and efficient. He would want to spend his time wisely and this is just a masterful way to do so. He also gets to be in these kids ear when all the other coaches will not since Grider is not on a staff that doesn't exist, yet.
Is this biblical??

There is none. Maybe Haslam is giving Hart the rope to hang himself with. I'm not sure what that means in regards to this search. It seems it will be too late.
