ESPN is such a staple of american society, it would be odd without it tbh. I doubt it would be for the better.

I'm curious about the info flow in regards to 2012 vs 2017.

Do you believe the information isn't flowing because there just aren't that many people that know or because the AD has it on a serious lockdown with penalty of being locked in a room with a pissed off Derek Barnett that thinks your just slapped his Momma type of punishment for leaks?

So I did a little research on Petersen.
(Strength of schedule)
Boise State:
06-07- (38)
07-08- (77)
08-09- (42)
09-10- (50)

11-12- (36)
12-13- (75)
13-14- (49)

AVG: 47.62 (SOS)

Washington:
14-15- (39)
15-16- (19)
16-17- (10)

AVG: 27.75 (SOS)

CAREER AVG AT THESE 2 STOPS: 41 (SOS)

*Note* A couple of these years, especially last year, were a little skewed because of the playoffs and making it to a couple of BCS bowls with Boise.

He's lost 2 games this year with a SOS of 43.

Im not anti-petersen, but to act like he is all world and a top 5 coach is not accurate. Doing more with less, possibly.

If it were him, its not worst case scenario at all. I just personally feel there are better options out there if you're going to throw a lot of money at someone.

One thing that some people do not factor in is that he's also never recruited the south and not familiar at all with the SEC, minus the butt whooping they received by Alabama last year.

Not that this tells us anything, but just interesting that on Wed ESPN was runn Ng adds for MNF. The add originally started with the long version with showed Gruden & Terico (sp?). Yesterday, they continued showing the add, but shortened it by no longer showing Gruden or Terico...

I haven’t been keeping up on here as well as I should have, what’s spurring all the Petersen chatter? I saw reference to a possible Sunday announcement but what makes anyone think that’s for Petersen and not Mullen, Brohm, or any of the other usual suspects?
