All the information I've seen is that this was about the video.

Dismissing a kid- and announcing it via an interim coach live on a radio show- is classless. Did Jennings do something wrong? Yes. Does it warrant a dismissal, especially by an interim staff? Absolutely not.

Given the timing, it seems more likely that JJ's video was made AFTER he was dismissed from the team, and was his reaction to being dismissed.

So...anyone know what JJ did that got him dismissed?

I haven't yet found a single person who knows.

Until we know, how can we judge whether it was a good decision, or a bad one, or one that should have waited for the new permanent coach?

Answer: we can't judge.

So let's just wait until the facts come out, if they ever do.

The more I think about it, the more I realize we have a certifiable dumbass in the AD seat.

To approve the dismissal of a player with an interim coaching staff is absolute dumpster fire level insanity.

I want Gruden as much as the next guy, but with this kind of move- we're getting a Norvell.

Great evaluation considering you know absolutely nothing about the circumstances of his dismissal. Yet Currie has had to deal with Jennings for quite a while and has details you do not have such as Jennings earlier arrest. But yeah, Currie is the dumb one.

I don't get the "interim staff" comment? These coaches aren't off the street, they've been coaching these kids all season. Just because they weren't the head coach doesn't mean anything. Who cares if it was an interim staff? What he posted was wrong, it embarrasses the team, the university, himself, etc. Personally, I think Currie or Hoke or whomever decided to remove him from the team did the right thing- interim or not.
