Go hit the Mizuno MP-18 if you're in the market for some new forged irons. There isn't an iron on the market that feels as good as Mizuno irons

Forged, maybe, but a lot of pros aren't using forged irons anymore (PXG for example). If you haven't hit the P790's, you need to try them. They are the same technology as the PXG's which cost almost twice as much, but they spin the ball better. They look like forged, hit like a cavity back (they aren't), and have a huge sweet spot. The problem I had with the PXG is that the ball rolled too much after landing. The 790's stop quicker. Best looking performance iron on the market and they are awesome. I'm a 7 hdcp. (up from 4)--age catching up with me--putter failing.

what's your best round at the Honors? My son shot a 70 from the back tees when they held the state AM there 8 or 9 years ago. He was in 3rd place after the first day. Didn't do as well the last 3 days but it was fun.

Well I sincerely hope that the people in your circle can strip them bare. Seriously over the locals downplaying UT sports. It seems their sole purpose is to lower expectations, and I believe that comes from within UT.

If they are listening, they need to know that just getting us to a meaningless bowl game will no longer cut it.

We have the resources. Time to win, no excuses.

That is precisely why I attack them. Lower expectations of the consumers = lower probability that the administration guns for a home run hire.

Here’s a cool fact for you golfers. If you ever hit up a garage sale or a used golf club store look at the putters. Specifically, look for the Original Ping Anser. Karstein began making them in his garage in Scottsdale and then moved everything to Phoenix. If you can find one of the original Ping ansers with Scottsdale on the back instead of Phoenix, it’s worth anywhere between 1000-1700 depending on the condition.

All of this is great however if it didnt come from Currie, then take it with a grain of salt.

Treat all the rumors like you do a butch jones football season.

Keep Low Expectations so that if it ends up not being Gruden ...you're not setup for disappointment.

We all wanna hear " breaking gruden has agreed too vols...." that is all fine and great but realistically he isn't gonna be hear forever, what happens when he leaves???? The problems relies deeper than just a coach, it's a long term investment into the program they are making. Taking power away from people that don't care about football

Gruden is not taking an NFL job. As a MNF analyst, he spent years gaining the trust of NFL players and coaches to gain exclusive access on how they approach the game. He knows which guards Michael Bennett prefers attacking. He knows which throws Mariota likes most. He knows how John Elway approaches the draft and how Pete Carroll motivates his players. Gruden probably has the skinny on everyone in the NFL not named Belichick. To immediately coach an NFL team after years with that access, seems a bit unfair, right? It would likely discourage players and coaches from being as candid with future coach-analysts. And it could reflect poorly on Gruden himself. Sure, he might return to the NFL one day, but his best move presently is to win a few national titles for his in-laws.
