Exactly. The only real wild card is the Billy Donavan factor. Heck...he coached in Orlando for 2 days, and then went back to Florida.

All that to say...either it is signed and we are being played (which is my stance) or Gruden has pulled the plug.

I think the AD has led a misinformation campaign for at least the last 3 weeks. I don't know why they would stop until the new coach is announced.

quit trying to blame Hart and/or boosters if we move on. It's Gruden. He is notorious for this and it appears he has done it again.

Move on to who is next if we have to, and stop wanting to fire someone just because Gruden doesn't want the job.

IF there is any truth at all to his wife wanting him to "work this out" and he has left us at the altar so to speak.. His home life may be a bit rough for a while..

Everyone should go read Dave Hart's bio. He is intelligent, experienced, and well-respected in athletics administration. If anyone thinks he does not know that he needs to get this hire right, they are sorely mistaken. Hart is controlling this thing and doing it right. Part of the reason for all of the conflicting information is the pure conjecture by fans & media. The other reason is probably smoke from those in charge of this, including Hart.

Everyone needs to relax. This current administration is NOT the same as the previous one.

There are chattanooga press claiming Haslam as a source and that the deal is done, and KNOX press quoting no sources claiming Gruden declines. hmmmmmmm

Was it stated that this would happen about a month ago? That all kind of media information would state the Gruden hire would not happen? If so this would give everyone more of a reason to think the Gruden hire is good to go.
