Just saw this from the Saban coaching search/timeline...

Redemption. Nick Saban Four Years Later | Bleacher Report

Mal Moore wasn't giving up the search, saying in a written statement, "I want to remind everyone of what I said at the outset of this process: My only objective is to get the best person available to lead the Alabama football program. I remain determined to bring to our program a proven head coach with impressive credentials."

Through out the month of December 2006 Miami Dolphins head coach Nick Saban was hounded by the media, asking if he was going to take the Alabama job. During his weekly press conferences Saban denied the rumors. On December 21 he said, "I'm not going to be the Alabama coach."

But after the Dolphins' season ended on January 1, 2007, Saban met with Mal Moore. On January 3 he accepted Moore's offer to become the head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Nothing good about that town.....Heck I'd rather live in Detroit or B'more any day then Philly. If you took all the A-holes in the world and had them propgate only with other A-holes for about 6 generations, ya get Philly...it's not even that it's bad or "dangerous" shoot B'more is much badder, but the people are alright in B'more...Philly is just a city of ....I can't say it here..... just hate that place.

At this point I don't care about the past. I'm geared toward the future. What good is past success, if you haven't been good since the time most of these recruits were 4, or 5. I remember how good we used to be, but many don't.

I know I'm probably gonna get flamed for this, but if for some reason we don't get Gruden who would be your first choice? I think mine would have to be Stoops.

Let me clarify my thoughts:

What he is saying seems to me to be that the discussions with Gruden has all come from the boosters and Hart has nothing to do with them....

That is the same information I have had all along
