He said "I'm probably hearing the same names as you are, but no I haven't heard anything." He then went on to say, "but Gruden is just a dream, that's not going to happen and honestly, I would rather have Stoops."

I am choosing to believe he is just not in "the know" and gonna continue to believe all the OG's on here. I just wanted to pass the info along.

IMO the "og's" successfully trolled volnation and the Knoxville media. While funny, it will also make the actual hire look very underwhelming in the eyes of SEC forum goers. I don't think they all intentionally gave bad info, but even bad info can spread quickly and come from formerly trusted sources. If anyone has substantial evidence otherwise I would be more than welcome to it. Gruden would be a home run hire, but I just dont see the evidence pointing to it as a legitimate possibility.

You seem to be believeing that the deal is over... I do NOT...Many others DO NOT... why? if you are not trolling do you continue to refer to it as OVER...Just admit like the most of us on here you don't know

If what you say is true. For a coach to care who we get, it is either Jay Graham who cares about Tennessee. Or its a coach who has ties to Bob Stoops and feels they could be retained if he was hired.

The OG's haven't intentionally mislead. There is legit reasoning behind the Gruden talk.

Just heard from a friend that is friends with a booster that Friday is the day. He's adamant about it. He says Manning saved the day... Not sure what that means but he's 100 percent on it being a done deal. Just thought I'd share because I know how original these kinds of posts are :p
