First off I'm not being a troll and I am choosing not to put a lot of stock in what I am about to say. Just thought I would pass it along.

Literally just got done talking to one of the current coaches at UT (my next door neighbor) and I asked if he had heard anything on the new football coach. He said "I'm probably hearing the same names as you are, but no I haven't heard anything." He then went on to say, "but Gruden is just a dream, that's not going to happen and honestly, I would rather have Stoops."

I am choosing to believe he is just not in "the know" and gonna continue to believe all the OG's on here. I just wanted to pass the info along.

I didn't do squat to hurt this deal. Everyone is acting as if I am dispelling the rumors/destroying the deal. The fact is like me, I hate waiting, and I am an easy target.No one has heard much so they start pointing fingers and I am looking at a bunch of fingers. Everyone wants absolutes and there are few to have unless you are one of the handful involved in brokering the deal. I am still confident it will get finalized.

I am also confident Babyavi will latch onto any rumor as fact obviously. What has he said is "not" true? You have to be able to see the forest in spite of the trees and decipher what is believable or not. I think the posts after the Troy game (I think) about overhearing Peyton and others conversations from their box and the ability to believe almost any rumor and fight like hell to not admit it when proven false.
